The Glassdoor Employees' Choice Awards, based entirely on employee feedback, honor various companies and leaders throughout the world. The awards cover a range of categories, including Best Places to Work and Highest Rated CEOs.

Plus, Glassdoor often honors companies for standing out for a particular workplace factor, such as work-life balance, career opportunities, or compensation and benefits. Winners of various categories are announced throughout the year, and some categories, like Best Places to Work and Highest Rated CEOs, receive annual recognition.

How are winners of Glassdoor's Employees' Choice Awards determined?

Award winners are determined using feedback employees have shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year. Employees complete an anonymous company review that captures their overall job and company satisfaction, as well as qualitative insights into the best reasons to work at their company, along with what needs improvement.

Based on feedback employees share during the year long period of eligibility, Glassdoor then applies a proprietary algorithm to each award category. As part of the algorithm, Glassdoor considers the quality, quantity, and consistency of reviews.

How do I submit my company for Glassdoor's Employees' Choice Awards?

It's easy - just share a review for your company and ask your fellow employees to do the same. The review should take no more than a few minutes to complete. Only one company review per employee is accepted each year, and each review must meet Glassdoor's community guidelines.

I posted a company review last year, will it count toward this year's Glassdoor's Employees' Choice Awards?

No. The Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award rankings are based on annual review submissions and not cumulative contributions; therefore, placement on previous lists does not guarantee a spot on an upcoming list.

When is the deadline to submit for each category?

Remember that Glassdoor looks at employee feedback throughout the year, so unlike other awards, it's important to have ongoing feedback from employees. In general, however, you can expect a deadline for eligibility for each Glassdoor award category to be approximately 4-6 weeks prior to winners being publicly announced.
