    The best thing is the benefit offerings are wide and varied. The worst things are the "credits" that are earned and applied and the rising costs each year

    Company perks seem to only apply to the corporate office and not to local claims offices. Very happy with the 401k package. Premiums for health benefits are a little pricey. Surprisingly there are no (or minimal) discounts for auto/home insurance. I would think that would be a major benefit when working for an insurance company.

    Good 401k match and still offering a pension. They also offer a pretty inexpensive high deductible medical plan. With the high deductible plan, they give you money in an HSA to help with those costs. It's actually a pretty good deal.
