Former TLC Publicity Intern in New York, New York State

I was only an intern so I didn't get benefits, but the intern program had a lot of educational opportunities. They brought in vice presidents and even the CEO to talk with us about the industry. I was offered to go along on interviews with top talent and media outlets. I know Discovery has a great health program too.

Current Executive Assistant in Silver Spring, Maryland

Good benefits for Silver Spring employees at HQ, in house wellness center, plenty of company wide cultural and team building events

    Former Employee in Atlanta, Georgia

Good health insurance. Discovery is a family oriented company so benefits were great for those with dependents.

Former Coordinating Producer in Silver Spring, Maryland

Great health insurance, paid time off is great if you work out of the TV production part of the company. Otherwise very difficult to actually take any time off.

Couldn't tell...Contract workers have no benefits other than the salary.

Current Employee in Washington, District of Columbia

The opportunity to work from home

Former Employee in Silver Spring, Maryland

strong base salaries, amazing medical benefits, clinic on site, good bonus potential, unfortunately the employees who make the real difference never get to participate in the stock plan, reserved for VP's and above.

Current Sr. Director in New York, New York State

The best I've had. Covers all of the usuals (medical, dental, optical), plus super-fantastic extras like backup childcare, which was a godsend when my nanny was out.

Excellent benefits. Onsite wellness center. Great 401k and stock purchase programs
