    The best part about the benefits package at Ford is the health care options for hourly employees.

    The benefits package is not as interesting as in other companies. Health insurance is expensive, retirement plan is not competitive enough, some benefits are hard for the pocket.

    Health Insurance offers "alright" coverage at decent rates. Thankfully, they do offer cash incentives to take your spouses insurance.

    There's a wide variety of other benefit options, some of which are company paid and others more elective, but the offering is pretty large.

    Time off is one area they could definitely improve on, although it's still better than many employees (I support a more European model for vacations, but as an American it feels like a pipe dream).
