    Even though this company offers flexible work hours and work from home... it is not available to all employees.. it is upon discretion of the manager per department.

    The GS benefits package is unbeatable. I think that is one of the reasons they think they can pay their employees so little. Health insurance is the best. The 401(k) is vested from day one, and as long as you pay in 4% of your salary, they match and will add to ensure you receive a minimum of 6,000 per year. Every employee starts with 18 days off, and it goes up from there. They are also very good about letting you take time here and there for person reasons. I attended every one of my wife's exams when she was pregnant with our first child.
