    Current Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

They pay competitive salaries, but boy do you work for it!

Pros: 'More Choices' for health benefits than previously provided
Cons: All choices are at a higher cost to you and contribution level from the company is lower than ever. All deductibles are higher than previous.
They have yet to announce any changes to 401K other than a new provider for that is coming next year.
Bonuses have a potential to be great but business performance is vague so no one really knows where we will net out at end of year.

    Current Maintenance in Fremont, Ohio

Benefits are largely controlled under contract negotiations, as the Fremont plant is a unionized shop. Heath coverage, currently, is above average-at least for the area. We currently pay nothing out of pocket for our benefits. The current 5-year contract is up in the beginning of 2016 and we are all anticipating major change.
I have been at the facility for over 10 years and was part of the last group hired that received a pension program. Now it is 401k option only.
Severance package is 1-week for each year of service-something that is becoming more and more of a reassuring benefit. There is a company store that offers "discounted" consumables.
The first vacation week is not earned until the first year anniversary. Three "personal" days offered per year with the option of obtaining 2 more for an incentive to fight absenteeism.
Tuition assistance was once offered but was cut out on the last company buy-out. New management does not seem concerned for the betterment of it's workforce any longer.
