    I'd say the best part is the travel program due to the amount of locations you can go to and how heavily discounted the rooms are. The hardest part is when you're traveling to a location with high occupancy like a resort.

    As of 2013, Hilton Worldwide uses a PTO system for vacation benefits. The Good: You will start with 16 days per year that you will start earning almost immediately upon hire and can begin using after only a few months of employment. The fact that you do not have to wait a year before you can start using your paid time off and the fact you can roll over some days "if you have them" are the only good thing about the PTO policy. Here is the bad. There are no sick days. If you are sick and dont want to subject you co-workers to your illness, it will cost you a PTO day. This is very bad because people just come in and end up getting everyone else sick. If it didnt come from the same pot as vacation, people would be more likely to stay home when they should. Also, there are NO PAID HOLIDAYS. If you want Christmas Day off you have to take a PTO Day. You want the 4th of July off, that is a PTO day. Get it. Hopefully they have changed the policy but I work for a competitor of Hilton now and combined, you start with 17 days between vacation and paid holidays plus an additional 5 sick days. The other benefits are about on par with the industry but I feel like Hilton's PTO policy puts their overall benefits package below average when comparing with the rest of the industry.
