    The training was mostly on the computer. The in person training was watching someone for an hour or two and then being left alone to do the job. Employees do get a discount for Kmart and Sears. Had to be a full time employee to get benefits and even some of the management staff was part time so they would not have to pay benefits. No bonuses or commissions.

    The benefits are bad, but that's expected. It's just a cashier job.
    When the hiring manager talked about commission, the reality is you hardly ever get a commission. But they act like it's easy and you'll get a dollar more an hour- don't buy it.
    The hourly pay is always minimum wage, you get a 20% discount- which is kind of low. Otherwise there are no benefits for low employees, but that's just NORMAL.

    The only part that really sucks is the "training". It's just really old videos that have nothing to do with the job, but there is a host of important things you need to learn and you typically don't learn them until you've made the mistake. I said up front that I will be a dedicated worker if I get the right training and info so I can do my job, fortunately the coworkers and managers help a lot but the training itself is a giant pile of dooky.
