    Lack of, and cost of, health care options in comparison to other tech companies. Employees only get to choose between two high deductible spending type options, and they charge you a surcharge on top of the fee for SO coverage!

    People who have been with the company more than 8 or so years have a phenomenal 401(k) match and can continue with the pension program, if desired. More recent hires have retirement benefits that are representative of the market-at-large. Medical benefits are at standard industry rates for companies similarly-situated. People with 8 or more years experience have about 35 days of PTO (combination of vacation and sick time - it can be used any way the employee desires). Two days off per year are provided to accommodate volunteerism.

    We don't get enough time off to help with family or a new edition. If we want more time, we are able to do this without pay and that is not a feasible option for most people that work there.
