Lowe's has wonderful benefits even for part-time employees such as dental and eye for fair prices.

Health Insurance and the vision insurance is hands down the best I've had.

401k is good. Vacation Days can be blacked out due to seasonal selling times. Vacation does not roll over. Use it or loose it. You can only miss 5 days then face disciplinary actions. Very hard for those with families. Paid Holidays are a trade off for working on or near a holiday. Medical is comprehensive There are Leave of Absence plans but you must enroll in them. They cost money like any other form of insurance. Employee discount is 10%. You'll find that customer often get a bigger discount than you would, by asking for an MOD. Train is basically out the window. The Department Manager's are in charge of said training, but rarely have the time to do it. Its sink or swim.
