The worst thing about the benefit package is salary. If you are already employed and switch positions at a higher pay grade you are only eligible for a certain percent. However if you are new to the company and not seasoned you can come in at a higher salary than someone who has been with the company longer

Excellent health, dental and life insurance options. Healthy lifestyle environment. Several ad hoc benefits available for employees to take advantage (Weight Watchers, Tobacco Free, Gym membership).
Unfortunately, Education Reimbursement is dependent on the individual's manager/department's approval. Managers may not see a benefit to their department directly and decline reimbursement (Note: not the McKesson policy). However, it can benefit McKesson on a whole.
Work from home is available if manager/department "believes" in that lifestyle.

Health insurance benefits leave little to be desired from one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the US.

The Irony is all most to much when it comes to this company. You provide medical needs to the general public but i dare you to try to have health benefits here. Might as well just flip burgers ...

    Good coverage but rather expensive

Amount of choices and reasonable costs. The benefits package is better than most large companies which is probably why people stay even though their pay is not competitive with other large companies.

Employee stokc purchase plan is good. Medical Insurance is expensive.

There is a fair amount of vacation (at least in when i worked there.) But being able to schedule time for vacation can be problematic for warehouse workers. The warehouse is union and vacation time is scheduled by solely by seniority. A junior worker may not get to schedule time off around holidays for years.
