The worst thing about MedAssets benefit package was no tuition reimbursement. This may have changed however, since I was at MedAssets.

Early adopters of high deductible health plans...I suppose it is where the market was going. Great time off and programs to support local charities.

Very high out of pocket deductible.

17 days of pto. it goes up form there based on the amount of years you have with the company. $4000 deductible if you have a family. company contributes to HSA. if you're consulting, they have a 1-1 match on all food (no per diem) so you eat very well. Retirement is 50% match up to 3% salary.

5 days PTO for volunteer work. You may get PTO however you never get a real break because you get emails and calls when you take time off, after hours, weekends and stat holidays.

    Former Employee in Plano, Texas

high premium, high copay, working in healthcare to be robbed of healthcare

  • Oct 28, 2014
Former Financial specialist in Plano, Texas

Terrible health benefits for a "healthcare" company. 401k matches at 50% up to 3%

  • Oct 6, 2014
    Current Employee in Dallas, Texas

Like many employers MedAssets has moved to a high deductible plan

  • Oct 19, 2014
    Current Employee in Plano, Texas

Best thing: flexible workday in some divisions
Worst thing: medical premiums, sub-par healthcare coverage, low 401k match, low bonus opportunities

  • Sep 29, 2014
Former Employee in Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Health insurance is expensive and lacking in coverage.
