You have to make sure that you get the best health insurance or else you will still be spending a lot out of pocket.

Current Loss Prevention Agent in Wellington, Florida

You could probably do better checking out Obamacare.

  • Jun 11, 2015
Former Retail Salesperson in Thousand Oaks, California

I would rarely get the amount of hours to qualify for insurance even though I was full time

  • Jun 10, 2015
    Current Salesperson in Dulles, Virginia

You pay very low amount for your health insurance. However, you will not qualify to have it if you work less than 30 hours a week.

    Good coverage and fair prices

  • May 14, 2015

Two choices Aetna or Group Health. Group Health will be the easiest in terms of handling billings. With Aetna you will need to challenge every bill, and spend at least 45 mins per call. This has been the case for me and many of my coworkers.

the Aetna deductibles are ridiculous, and for a family you can expect to pay up to $8600 + ~$5K in premiums. they do offer $1K in the HSA to help off set the high deduct.

Group Health deductible is only $750 for family. Plenty of health care options in Seattle area. South sound...not so much.

compared to similar fortune 500 companies in Seattle, Nordstrom health care is weak. Microsoft, Starbucks, Google, Zillow and Amazon all less expensive options.
