unlimited vacation time is the best, health care costs are the worst

    Former Employee in Shawnee, Kansas

Untracked vacation, great 401k matching, full insurance benefits, lots of extra perks and fun.

Current Senior Consultant in Kansas City, Missouri

Unlimited time off, decent benefits package

Former Sales Engineer in Kansas City, Kansas

Free money on the 401k was a great bonus - the extra 1% no matter what encouraged all employees to contribute and track their 401k. Matching up to 5% was also very generous.

Free soda in the cafe. Free coffee.

Depending on department and role, you may receive a $50/$100/mo stipend for mobile phone service. As such, you are expected to be available anywhere at all times.

Unlimited time off but it is discreetly discouraged in order to achieve positive performance reviews and stand out on the team.

401k match is average, worse than it used to be pre-Lexmark.

Health insurance has become significantly worse over the last 4 years since the Lexmark acquisition. Now much more expensive and much less coverage. Sub-par BCBS plan.

Company values have shifted away from "employees are the most valuable asset" to "sales focused, chase the shiny object".

Raising concerns about benefits to HR leads to defensive backlash from the top HR at Lexmark.

Many employees work from home / remote but are excluded from several work events and networking opportunities.
