401k is lacking, and well below average, however the CTO given is generous.

-We have all medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage if we choose to have them.
-Our 401k matching is frugal--33% of every dollar up to 6% (which means it's 2%) and it vests over THREE years!!! Many do not participate as a result.

PPO plan has high premium ($210 per month for self-coverage, and only pays 80% coverage IN NETWORK doctors. Company 401(k) matches 1% of your 5% contribution, and it's paid only once per year.

You start off with 20 days of paid vacation each year which is pretty standard for the industry but lower than my previous firm. The health benefits are OK, but again pretty standard for the industry. This year they revamped the benefits package and there are more choices now, but overall it is more expensive and less coverage then before, but that's pretty pervasive in the USA right now. The 401(k) match is laughable and takes forever to vest, so that is probably one of the worst things. They do offer commuter benefits, child care and elder care benefits, and decent company paid life and short term disability. One complaint is that they do not let you roll over vacation days in excess of 10, and those you must use in the first quarter of the following year.
