The best thing about Publix is that you get one free share of stock for every 270 or 300 dollars you make

Benefits package is definitely a bonus as it comes with health insurance and a few other bonuses. There aren't really any cons with Publix's benefits. I wish I could back to Publix.

great - benefits - health, dental, and vision. Also a free lunch every day is included in your salary at every location. Also everyone gets stock and you can buy more

Aside from the Publix Employees Federal Credit Union (which is awesome for banking, loans, etc...), it was hard to beat the ESOP program. Much better than the normal rate of return seen on most 401k plans. Health insurance was middle of the road, but decent for a company with tens of thousands of associates.
