Health insurance is a study in frustration. I like the fact that you can pass healthy measures testing and get discounts on your insurance premiums annually however trying to find an urgent care facility that is not an emergency room after 9 pm on any given day is impossible.

On the new contract, I have to pay $1000 deductible just to get my benefits.

  • Dec 8, 2014

Union contract provides good medical, dental insurance and vision.
    Sick policy is not great.
    PTO is lacking.
    Pension is alright.

Nice 10% discount off of Safeway branded products. Low 401K matching %. Medical benefits are expensive for corporate employees compared to employees who work in stores.

Insurance benefits used to be really good. Now it's just average. Big deductibles and max put of pockets
