    Every year the health plan cost keeps going up along with the deductibles and copays. It may only be a few dollars more per pay period but combined with the added deductibles it adds up to a few hundred dollars more for a family plan.

    benifits are getting less and less. 401 no longer has any match. health benifits are getting more expensive. sick time is down to 4 days a year.

    Telecommuting (usually 1 day per week) from the home office (Hoffman Estates) is actually a great perk and one that most people take advantage of. More than 1 day depends on your specific job and position.
    Another great perk is summer hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day --- you can work extra hours during the week and then take 1/2 day on Friday.
    Health insurance is very expensive and not competitive; SHC has not paid any 401K match for a number of years.

    You don't get any benefits as a part timer. As a full timer the cost is outrageous. Its better to buy your own insurance.
