Former Security Officer in Longview, Texas

I was a part time employee and I wasn't offered a benefit's package at Securitas Security Service.

    Current Security in Joliet, Illinois

There are no benfits beside good pay for a easy job. They do have paid vacations though. They are starting a new health care but benfits aren't even worth it

Former Security Guard in Eureka, California

No good. You pay into it and you make minimum wage because the manager low balls contracts. Clients get what they pay for and most employees will sleep or use narcotics on site

Current Unarmed Security Guard in East Syracuse, New York State

There are no benefits unless the site your at has it in their contract, and even then its too expensive for the rate of pay you get. Better off getting government insurance. Forget about a 401k plan or any real paid time off. I took a week off after my one year and they tried to say i couldn't have it til one month after my one year anniversary which is written no where. Took me three weeks to finally get it. I couldn't even take family leave when my daughter was born, the reluctantly gave me a couple days added onto my off days and laughed when I asked for more.

Former Account Manager in Huntsville, Alabama

employees are eligible for very high health insurance after 90 days. The 401K is laughable for a multi-billion dollar company. There is no paid vacation, however, employees are paid one week salary for not taking vacation.

It is a really good work place. It is a friendly work environment. It is not a to stressful job.

  • Feb 25, 2015
Current Systems Monitor in Redmond, Washington State

Health Insurance isn't terrible. If you get on the right account, you get a 20% discount on cell phone plans for all the major carriers.

  • Mar 30, 2015
Current Security Officer in Lincoln, Nebraska

There is not really any good benefits at all with this company. So there is only cons for this part being benefits.

  • Mar 6, 2015
Current Site Supervisor in Knoxville, Tennessee

Very expensive for hourly staff with poor coverage.

  • Mar 3, 2015
Current Srcurity Officer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Very high deductible Govt mandated health care is only coverage available. Aetna dental and STD coverage is reasonable. Vacations are unpaid except where you waive your right to use it. In that case you get paid 1 week lump sum after your anniversary date.
