Best is the health insurance benefits, on site health clinic and gym. Being able to work from home provides a nice break during the work week. However, this might be eliminated due to SoftBank.

Prior method of 401K (they changed for worse) was waiting until year end for lump sum matching amount. Instead of getting benefit monthly or such to increase in value in 401K plan.

The Med, Dental, Vision, 401k with matching up to 3% was great. You also received 1 employee phone plan free. You had to buy the phone but the monthly plan was free. You could also sign up your friends and family for discount plans.

Sprint has very comprehensive benefit package. It has a very good Total Benefit website to show you all the benefits you have received or can take advantage of in a very clear and compelling manner. I would consider Sprint's benefit offerings competitive and above average. The downside is that Sprint is going through another round of cost cutting and this is affecting the value of its benefits. For example, employees are paying larger share in its health insurance plan than before. It no longer offers pension plan. Its 401K match is about 4% maximum and it is not guarantee as it is based company yearly performance. Employees don't know if they get a match until the following year.

Best thing is the on-site employee gym. Well equipped and staffed.
