St. Joseph Health System Benefits



Employees on “Active” status and regular (not temporary) employees with standard work hours of 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits. All employees are eligible for the SJH Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). Eligible dependents of enrolled employees may be enrolled for medical, dental and vision coverage with coverage for dependent life insurance as permitted by law and the insurance policy.

Eligible dependents generally include:

  • Yourself
  • Spouse
  • Unmarried children
    • Up to age 19
    • Up to age 26 if they are full-time student (some restrictions apply)
    • Disabled child of any age, provided they are incapable of self-support due to a mental or physical disability, is listed as a dependent on your federal tax return, and is approved by your medical plan
