Current Subway Sandwich Artist in Hubert, North Carolina

The benefits are great from what I've heard - paid vacation, dental insurance, etc. but it is only offered to full time employees which is understandable.

Current Sandwich Artist in Orlando, Florida

the tips jar is the only benefit you will get besides from the employee discount

  • Nov 11, 2014
Former Work Crew Member in Saint Charles, Missouri

Sandwiches for 10% were great, and unlimited soda wasn't too bad. It rounded out at eating close to 1000 calories a work shift though. They're okay for the type of job it was.

Current Assistant Manager in Natick, Massachusetts

No benefits, all locations are franchisee run. In reality franchisee only makes 6% to 10% from all sales. They can't afford better wages or benefits to employees.

Current General Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana

Owners don't offer benifits to full time employees. No 401k. No health insurance. No dental insurance. No vision insurance. No nothing except two weeks paid vacation. But they expect you to work 50 hours a week.

There are no benefits packages, they do have fairly flexible hours depending on how many employees and franchise you're at, you get free fountain drinks and a discount on some of the food, some you pay full price.

When you work at Subway you get one meal free per shift. That includes a drink and a six inch. Sometimes you can eat cookies too if they are from last night.
