Current Registered Nurse in Dallas, Texas

Benefits are good but costs tend to be high with a $1000 deductible and higher copays. Must stay in hospital network for inpatient or surgical. Rx plans don't cover many newer medications, many restrictions on rx. 401k is good dollar for dollar up to 5%. More after 10 yrs. Lots of options for 401k. Many other benefits available though. Tuition reimbursement for employees. Not offered for families anymore. Flexible hours for nursing.

High copays and CVS/Caremark for Rx which is horrible, but everything else is great and people are very helpful.

Cheap benefits for the high option of insurance. High RX and smallest medical Deductible vision and dental for employee = $25

While this particular position has a terrible base pay, its benefits package is excellent. For approximately 1.5 hours' pay per month, I have full in network only benefits, short term AND long term disability, vision, dental, and life insurance policies.
