Current Employee in San Francisco, California

Skimpy number of vacation days - the number of weeks/yr is not competitive in the local Bay Area employment environment.

    Former Employee in Northridge, California

Since I was only seasonal part-time, I did not receive any benefit packages at the Gap. However, the employee discounts apply to the Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic.

Internally they talk about the benefits package like it's the best one in the world, but in reality it's slightly above average.

Current Cashier/Sales Associate in Buford, Georgia

Our employee discount rocks! I love how the company raised the minimum wage for all its employees!

Current Employee in New York, New York State

Good benefits and paid time off. Paid holidays are less than other companies - 7 days. Like matching contributions for charity and store discounts. Overall compared to other companies in industry - above average for benefits.

Current Senior Accountant in Albuquerque, New Mexico

The benefits from GAP are wonderful and the pay is good. I think the best thing is the volunteering aspect. They match hours from work and they match dollars you donate.

Current Assistant Store Manager in Los Angeles, California

Best med/dental coverage for same/opposite sex partners, they celebrate you for every year you are w/ the company, a lot of vacation time.

  • Oct 14, 2014
Current Sales Associate in Tannersville, Pennsylvania

You only get benefits if you work full time, but the only full time positions available are for managers. You get few hours so they can continue to pay you little.

Perks you get a 401K if you are a fulltime employee as well as a part time employee. You get 25% discount at Old Navy, %50% at Gap and Banana Republic. Flexible work schedule as well
