Federal benefits, TSP/401K, Federal benefits are great but pricey but if you or your love ones get sick or are sickley they are worth every penny

The best thing is that they match your contribution to your TSP up to 5%.

  • Nov 22, 2014

Best thing is that they have benefits, worst is they are not as good as navy.

  • Nov 16, 2014

Best thing is all of the benefits, a good Federal job. Has been a great career.

  • Oct 23, 2014
Former Contract Specialist in Burlington, Vermont

Nearly everything about the benefits here is great, except there is no paid maternity leave (but this is a federal policy issue overall). The tuition assistance/reimbursement program is also basically gone after 2008 and funding cuts, but many are hoping it comes back.

  • Oct 15, 2014
Former Program Analyst in Washington, District of Columbia

Flexible work conditions; good benefits; management has challenges--especially the political appointees

  • Sep 17, 2014

You have access to many benefits packages however, they are not all affordable.

  • Aug 21, 2014

Best NA, worst NA normal federal benefits
