    Well the insurance benefits were fantastic! Not only vision, dental, and a 401k. But my boss was woman. A lonely woman that "services" her employee's quit often. You could say the staff give her a PACKAGE deal. 10/10 would bang and work in the Boise store again

    Verizon has excellent benefits. They match dollar for dollar the first 6% you put in your 401k. In addition to that match, you typically earn 1.5-3% of your salary yearly as profit sharing in your 401k. The insurance benefits (medical, dental & vision) are fantastic. You start with 2 weeks vacation and work your way up to 5 weeks vacation if you have been with the company 15 years or more. You also receive 7 personal days a year to use or lose in the calendar year.

    Aside from their normal benefits, Verizon Wireless provided moral boosters such as a company 5k/2k paid, Customer appreciation week with time to participate in activities and a free lunch, free food on holidays that you worked, and company trips as a reward for being the best.

    Pros:
    Very comprehensive medical benefits with little out of pocket expenses
    Matching 401k up to 3%
    Yearly Profit Sharing Bonus in February
    Tuition Reimbursement
    50% off of phone bill
    new phone every year (only a 1 year contract)

    Cons:
    Like Most US employers, maternity leave benefits suck. They do pay for the first 6 weeks, but then your pay is at 60%
    When returning from maternity leave, no flexibility with being able to pump
