    Health, vision, and dental coverage were adequate but were rescinded with little notice for employees who work less than 30 hours/week and no opportunity was provided to earn them back.

    In 2014 Vitas eliminated short term disability coverage unlee the employee purchases it for themselves

    No pension or retirement plan, unless employee contributes small percent and company contributes small percent after some years to a 401k. Expensive health benefits and deductible, and employee will still pay for using health benefits. No holidays; employees receive limited PTO time to cover all sick

    For a Per Diem worker...YOU WILL NEVER GET A RAISE. What ever rate you start with as a Per Diem employee will remain the same if you stay there for 5, 10, 15 20 forever years! No benefits except for 401K for Per Diem workers.

    The selling point for Vitas is Paid Time Off PTO accrued each pay period which they tell you is for when you want to take personal days these also count as your vacation hrs! When the census drops you are forced to use PTO time to make up for missed payroll. Medical you must seek on your own as their plan is the same as paying out of pocket it is so poor
