Employee Comments

Great Package but a bit pricey for what you get. There is a way to reduce cost however by participating in a Wellness Program.

  • Jan 6, 2015
Former Senior Technology Manager in Woodland Hills, California

Benefits package was good, price of medical born by the associate was higher than anywhere I have been for the same level of coverage.

  • Jan 11, 2015
Former Employee in Seattle, Washington State

High cost health benefits with poor coverage. Ironic for a health-insurance provider.

  • Jan 10, 2015
Current Customer Service Representative III in Middletown, New York State

The benefits are mediocre at best. Horribly ironic for one of the largest insurers in the country.

Current Project Manager in Virginia Beach, Virginia

WellPoint is a health insurance company so you would expect that they provide great health insurance, and they do! On top of that they offer wellness credits that lower the cost even more.

  • Nov 25, 2014
    Current Director in Chicago, Illinois

Overall good benefits package for employees

  • Nov 20, 2014
Current Lie Chat Representative in Cincinnati, Ohio

The enviroment here really pushes you to be healthy. You even get a discount on the healthy foods in the cafeteria.

  • Nov 19, 2014
    Current Employee in Springfield, Massachusetts

Overall good benefits, even with the high employee cost share.

  • Nov 7, 2014
Current Developer Advisor in Virginia Beach, Virginia

They cover transgender health benefits and have several health plans to choose from. They offer Wellness support such as paying for smoking cessation and health club memberships. The worst thing is that even at my level I only have three weeks PTO to use for both medical and vacation, and they only observe 8 national holidays.

Current Financial Consultant in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Decent Benefit package, includes tuition reimbursement and referral incentives.
