At eBay Inc., no matter which of our offices, brands, or locations you call home, you’ll discover consistent benefits that are intended to support you—in your work, your life, your passions, and your future.

Health & Wellness

We want you (and your family) to be healthy! To help you along that road, we offer a wide variety of health benefits. While our offerings vary from country to country, we strive to offer programs that help support you both in mind and body, including quality health insurance, wellness programs, options to reduce your taxable income, and counseling and referral services.

Financial Security

Feeling financially secure during our working years and through retirement is important to all of us. eBay Inc. provides a variety of plans to help ensure your financial security today and in the years ahead.

Other Benefits

eBay’s busy, fast-paced environment makes for an exciting work experience, but it can also make it difficult to balance personal, family, and professional responsibilities. Managing the demands of life inside and outside the office is both a priority and a challenge for many of us. To that end, some of our locations offer onsite perks—things like dry cleaning pick up and delivery and oil changes—that can give you back a little time and peace of mind.

NOTE:  While eBay Inc. intends to provide these benefits indefinitely, we reserve the right to change or terminate any or all of the programs at any time subject to any limitations or restrictions of local law. Benefits may vary depending on location.

Former Cloud Engineer Intern in San Jose, California

No Worst things, it is one of the most competitive pay for an intern in the valley.
But housing and other perks and SWAG are unmatched.

Best thing: Dollar to dollar 401k match
Worst: Doesn't give a lot of RSUs

Current Software Engineer in San Jose, California

You have to earn holidays (PTOs) and there are no sick leaves, hence if you get sick, you have no option but to take the PTO.

Competitive salary. Frequent lunch parties. Lot of technology events like hackathons.

    Best:Employee stock purchase plan
Worst: No childcare; no lunch provided

Current Shipping Manager in San Jose, California

Best Thing - The perks: Free soda and fruit in the kitchen, on-campus cafeteria (you have to pay for it, but it's decent), on-campus gym and classes, basketball court and bocci ball court. One of the cool things that eBay provides that I haven't had before is the immediate 401(k) company match. Most companies I've worked for put their "matching amount" in my retirement account once a year. eBay puts it in as soon as you contribute.

Worst Thing - Food should be free or at least deeper discounted.

Former Intern in San Jose, California

eBay treats its interns incredible well. I doubt there are many other companies that pay as well as the internship at eBay does. This is true throughout all of their companies. They also put interns in amazing housing (instead of just giving a stipend and telling you to figure it out) as well as provide for travel.
