    Interview

I was called by a recruiter and they basically pump you up for the interview. I got sent on all these inside sales/outside sales jobs but they questioned me because I didn't have the sales experience they were looking for.

    Interview

I spoke briefly (ten minutes or less) with a first-line recruiter and she did a basic review of my resume. Nothing she asked was overly difficult but I had prepared for the interview and had my notes and resume out for reference during the phone interview. My first interview back in 2003 was much more difficult than this.

    Interview

One month after submitting an application to the position via the website received an email from talent acquisition. Scheduled a phone screening for a few days later. Phone screening went well, basic questions and general qualification. Interviewed via phone with hiring manager 9 days after that. Phone interview went well with basic questions re subject matter and testing the cultural fit. No reply to thank you email (but I don't expect one). One week later another phone interview this time with a peer. Again phone interview went well but the peer was unaware of next steps. No reply to thank you email. Voice mail to talent acquisition generated no response. 1 week later no reply to friendly status check email to talent acquisition. Another week later no reply to friendly status check email to talent acquisition and also hiring manager. Another week later no reply to friendly status check email to talent acquisition. Another week later and after another friendly status check email to talent acquisition replied saying the hiring manager is very busy but I am still actively a candidate. Next day we both found out the hiring manager filled the position some time ago with an internal candidate.

    Interview

It was a 30 minute phone interview. Basic Behavioral Questions asking about my previous work experience. They asked me what my strengths were and why I wanted to work for ADP. It was a very laid back interview.

    Interview

Applied for another sales position online. No response. Recruiter contacted me about this one 4 months later. We scheduled the phone interview via email. The phone interview was 45 minutes, mostly her telling me about the position and what a great fit I would be. Recruiter scheduled the in-person interview at the end of the call. The in-person was supposed to be with 2 people, but was with three. It was the VP of sales, a DSM for another division, and a sales rep from another division. They were very friendly and engaging. At the end of the interview they commented that I had done well. Two and a half weeks later I emailed the recruiter asking for an update. She advised that I should have gotten a system-generated email telling me that I had not been selected, but encouraged me to apply for other sales positions. 45 minutes after that the system-generated email showed up. Since my background is in HR I'm not sure how I would be more qualified for other sales jobs than I was for this one.

There was no surprising questions. Just going over some basic background questions.
The weird questions they asked was, do you have a car.
But overall the employer has made me to talk comfortably and I could not have done better job without her.

    Interview

When i meet my interviewing manager and ask her how is her day, she immediately stated that she wishes this day was over. It was my first impression. We interviewed for about an hour and pretty much all this time she did not ask me any relevant question about position i applied for. It was an one hour of my resume critique. She keep saying that she would like that i had add an examples of my work in to my resume, i replayed, if i add examples, them my resume will be like 50 pages long. She agreed. Then she went on and on about she would changed section of my resume to something else. I tried to change subject by saying that she have me right up front of her and she can ask me any question and i can give her lots of examples, but all came to nope she really did not want to hear anything.
It was overall very unpleasant and odd experience, as i could use my time do very much more important things then listen about interviewer opinion about my resume for an hour. I would advise management do not interview if they personally affected by their bad day and they trying to go off on a person that they never even meet. Very unprofessional. I would say stay away if you can, there much better places to work.

    Interview

It seems like a great company. However, they are very disorganized for being global, and misleading. After three rounds of interviews (two of which were very strange). They advertise their 6 week sales program. I was never given definitive times of a follow up, there is a major gap in HR, and in turn they ended up not offering me the position due to "lack of sales experience". I have been in sales my entire life and was a Marketing Director. As a company, why waste my time and yours.

In a positive light, it seems like a great environment and place for growth. However, being a sales representative; if internal HR never accommodates the customer or prominently responds to issues. You will never meet forecasted goals. It will also give you a bad reputation as a sales person.

Their high technology systems is great, and everyone was more than friendly. Just be prepared for an interesting interview experience.
