    Interview Details

One month after submitting an application to the position via the website received an email from talent acquisition. Scheduled a phone screening for a few days later. Phone screening went well, basic questions and general qualification. Interviewed via phone with hiring manager 9 days after that. Phone interview went well with basic questions re subject matter and testing the cultural fit. No reply to thank you email (but I don't expect one). One week later another phone interview this time with a peer. Again phone interview went well but the peer was unaware of next steps. No reply to thank you email. Voice mail to talent acquisition generated no response. 1 week later no reply to friendly status check email to talent acquisition. Another week later no reply to friendly status check email to talent acquisition and also hiring manager. Another week later no reply to friendly status check email to talent acquisition. Another week later and after another friendly status check email to talent acquisition replied saying the hiring manager is very busy but I am still actively a candidate. Next day we both found out the hiring manager filled the position some time ago with an internal candidate.

It was a 30 minute phone interview. Basic Behavioral Questions asking about my previous work experience. They asked me what my strengths were and why I wanted to work for ADP. It was a very laid back interview.

I applied online. The process took 5+ monthsinterviewed at ADP in March 2015.

    Interview Details

Applied for another sales position online. No response. Recruiter contacted me about this one 4 months later. We scheduled the phone interview via email. The phone interview was 45 minutes, mostly her telling me about the position and what a great fit I would be. Recruiter scheduled the in-person interview at the end of the call. The in-person was supposed to be with 2 people, but was with three. It was the VP of sales, a DSM for another division, and a sales rep from another division. They were very friendly and engaging. At the end of the interview they commented that I had done well. Two and a half weeks later I emailed the recruiter asking for an update. She advised that I should have gotten a system-generated email telling me that I had not been selected, but encouraged me to apply for other sales positions. 45 minutes after that the system-generated email showed up. Since my background is in HR I'm not sure how I would be more qualified for other sales jobs than I was for this one.

    I had a phone interview.
There was no surprising questions. Just going over some basic background questions.
The weird questions they asked was, do you have a car.
But overall the employer has made me to talk comfortably and I could not have done better job without her.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at ADP.

    Interview Details

The interview process was very lengthy, I had 4 interviews including a ride along before I even sat down with the hiring manager. Upon the last interview when meeting the hiring manager, he seemed disinterested before I even had a chance to discuss the position with him. After going on the ride along, I realized that although there are great incentives and it does seem like a good company, it's all a numbers game and if you're not cut throat and willing to knock down the coworker next to you, it's probably not the right company/position for you.

    Internal Audit Manager Interview

I applied through a staffing agency – interviewed at ADP.

    Interview Details

Went through a head hunter. Interview process was very quick - they got back with a schedule within a couple of days. Interviewed with 3 Directors, 1 VP and the Chief Audit Executive. Everyone was pretty easy to get along with except my hiring manager (my luck!). Internal audit processes are pretty archaic here - they just moved from paper based record keeping to SharePoint. But overall Directors seemed pretty bright for the most part - most of them from big four andFinancial Services.

    Department Administrative Assistant Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at ADP in February 2015.

    Interview Details

Applied online and their talent acquisition rep contacted me a few days later. That initial phone call was secretly a mini phone interview and if you pass they'll schedule you for an interview right there. I passed and got an interview for the X Department Admin Asst/Support. The position was basically to support the team with typical admin duties but also cross-check their work and be second support to other departments. It was an admin that was higher up the chain but still an administrative assistant.

I was told to bring examples of my past work to show how what I did for my current job matched their job, I did so and brought a copy of my resume, I also arrived in plenty of time and dressed in a conservative business-casual outfit. I was taken to the interview room and found out 4 people would be interviewing me. They were all department managers and after pleasantries were exchanged they got right down to it. There were very few behavioral questions and instead they went line-by-line down my resume and questioned everything I did and asked me to expand on what I wrote. It was more like an interrogation. I was pretty surprised (it seemed overly aggressive for the position title) but I wasn't caught off guard and I answered to the best of my ability. They took copious notes and when they were done they asked if I had questions, I did and the questions I asked were complimented as being great. They did not ask to see the work I brought and when they brought up pay they said it was non-negotiable.

They said it was urgent they filled the position and would have a decision by a certain day. The day after my interview I emailed one of the 4 managers, the only one to give me a card, and followed up with a pleasant email and a thank you. There was no reply. After decision day came and went I then emailed the recruiter and followed up with him. No reply.

I haven't heard from them since, which is fine, but to not call me or even send a rejection email is pretty classless and unprofessional. I didn't expect that from such a company.
