I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at ARAMARK.

    Interview Details

The interview took place within our on-campus Career Center, so I didn't get to experience their office culture. The interview was for a student manager position in our dining halls on campus. The woman who interviewed me was extremely friendly and very laid back - she never made me feel intimidated but definitely didn't sugar coat the fact that the job is NOT easy. The interview process was rather simple and standard, your typical procedures.

    Interview Questions
    • I can't remember the specific questions she asked - nothing too hard that was noteworthy. Like I said, it was very standard.   Answer Question

Interview was, pleasant. The conversation was lively and informative. I never felt intimidateded or worried except when they asked salary requirements. I hadn't researched it so was unprepared. I hope I haven't blown it but if it doesn't work out I'm ok with it

I first interviewed at my college campus. Then about a week later I recieved an email about being accepted to attend the A2L final round assessment. They paid for my travel and hotel room, then the next morning their was food and an information session detailing the job description and where you will be placed if you get the job. After the info session ended there were two thirty minute interviews with 10 minutes in between each. The first was mostly behavioral and situational questions, while the second interview dealt with where I would like to be located, a couple behavioral questions, then mostly me asking questions about ARAMARK and the A2L program.

I applied it thru my college, and it took me one day to get their reply. There was nothing special about the interview. There were two interviewers. Most of the questions they asked were about my previous jobs, strengths, weaknesses, scenario questions etc. BUT they did answer some weird questions or questions that are not very related to the job like "Tell me 5 things that you can use with this pen except using it to write". Quite difficult interview.

I had one over the phone interview which seemed to go well, and they flew me out to their headquarters. They did not recruit from my school, must likely cause their business is not concentrated in Michigan, but the initial recruiter was reluctant to have me on board.
The interview in Philadelphia was a half day with around around 200 candidates. Associates were spread throughout the conference room, those of which would be interviewing us individually in teams of two. While scoping the candidates it didn't seem that there were many interested in a clear job role or career, just that they want to become management. They also had little OTJ experience with few internships and such. They recruited a majority of "their own people" hiring people out of Philadelphia who had connections with the company, and placing them nationwide without much consideration to their prior experience.

    Leadership Development Program Interview

I had an on campus screening interview that went well. I was surprised that they asked me about salary in my screening interview (but never on the actual interview day.) Afterwards, I was invited to the Aramark day at a local hotel. Everyone was very friendly but it was very unorganized. We sat idle for most of the day with a short morning info session and 45 (?) minute interviews by pairs of interviewees. It was very confusing because the interviewers were unaware of the position I talked to the screener about. There was very limited information ahead of time about what the specific roles were. You had to wait until the interview day to truly find out information. Most of the positions were to be a manager in an Aramark dining or hospitality facility. When I tried to e-mail my screener to ask questions, she never answered (despite offering to help me). I was also scheduled a second screening interview which was canceled at the last minute once the screener realized I'd already been recommended for the interview day.

I had a Skype interview but they also recruited on campus. They try to get back to you in a weeks time which is really nice. They ask you pretty basic behavioral questions such as:
    1. Name a time when you were able to help someone who was struggling? Why was this difficult? How did it help you
    2. Why Aramark?
    3. What segment of the industry are you interested in?

The recruiter was really nice and friendly, and made the process not intimidating.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a dayinterviewed at ARAMARK in March 2014.

    Interview Details

I scheduled my interview at a hospitality career fair which my University hosted. The paper which I wrote my information on gave a numerical date for the interview day, so I had to figure out the day of the week (to figure out my class schedule) myself. It also failed to list a location, but I assumed that they would email me more information about it. A week passed, and I ended up calling my schools hospitality building to find out the location.

The interview was very friendly and professional. She even offered me water when I coughed.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at ARAMARK in February 2014.

    Interview Details

Initially met them at a career fair at a university and they scheduled an interview the next day. Interview was very casual with a sales manager. Let me drive the interview by focusing on my questions. Could not focus on the specifics of the role as they were more hiring for a program and did not have specific positions laid out yet. Left the interview feeling very good about how I did and Aramark as a company.
