I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at AXA Advisors in February 2014.

    Interview Details

Contacted an acquaintance who worked at AXA. Met with him and talked about the company for about an hour. Scheduled an interview with the branch manager the following week. Interview was quite simple, just some behavioral interview questions and questions such as why you want to work at AXA. Met the branch manager a second time a few more behavioral questions and then received a job offer.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at AXA Advisors in January 2014.

    Interview Details

The interview itself was fairly easy. I met one-on-one with an upper level management position who was pretty laid back. He asked a lot of questions to see if you are right for this type of job. The job was not really what I expected as it is almost all sales, and if you don't know people you fail. I declined a second interview.

    Interview Questions
    • Describe a specific time when you were really competitive.
How do you deal with rejection?

They offered a second interview, but I decided not to go. You have to take licensing exams and pay for them out of pocket, all while not getting paid.

Honestly, it just has such a bad reputation online. I really liked the president of that branch, but it seems like there are hidden agenda's. IF they paid a base salary through training and beginning phases, i would have accepted the job. Too much risk for me.

    Interview Details

    - Did not ask many questions, just explained the role and requirements. Did not feel like a formal interview
    - Very high turnover rate so interviews are held throughout the year
    - Multiple interviews are held just for show, to build attachment to the job offer and build credibility

    - Very vague description of the job especially pay structure

    Interview Questions
    • None, the interview wasn't behavioral or technical at all. They sell you on the job.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at AXA Advisors.

    Interview Details

Great environment, the advisors are great communicators so if feels professional but at the same time fun and relaxed, the interview process was about 4 interviews one which included a video chat with upper level management, while the other interviews were in office and with local management.

    Interview Questions
    Negotiation Details
There is no negotiation, you either take the job or you don't. If you are teetering on the edge whether you should interview or not, just go to the interview, you basically find out all you need to know during the first interview and if you don't like what you hear, just deny any offer.
