It was very simple. I was recruited in store and asked in for an interview. The process was easy and the questions included things such as teamwork, customer approach, and past experience beneficial to the position. I was hired on the spot

They ask you a few questions, like "What does diversity mean to you?". Honestly it's difficult to mess up being interviewed, especially if you were asked if you wanted to work there when you were in the store. If you applied online, just look as good as possible, they want a "natural pretty" look. Wear their clothing if you can, dress like you already work there. They usually do group interviews, but I did not get one as did many others because I wasn't available for the time they asked. They let me get an individual interview, whether or not that improved my chances, I don't know. They want outgoing extroverted type personalities mostly, I'm the complete opposite of that but I can be socially outgoing when I need to be, just be confident and show them you're a peoples person. Bottom line, look good and talk well, it's easy.

I was approached in the store by a manager who offered me an interview. The interview was in a group setting in the store with 5-6 other candidates. It was very relaxed and casual. Basic questions about working in a group, past experiences, etc.

First, there is a group interview. You can dress casually, but make sure you wear abercrombie everything or something similar. If you're going to be a model, they want to know what you would look like wearing their clothes. Speak up. Make sure you stand out. They just want people that would fit into their "Cali culture" vibe.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in May 2011.

Pretty laid back. Done in a group setting. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle, just be confident and show your peronality. Don't let everyone answer before you for every question, but don't be the person who jumps on top of every question instantly without having a good answer, they'll notice. I worked at the company for 2 years & I've spoken with store managers about intrviews and that was a pet peeve for most.

You are either approached in store or you have to inquire about working there. The manager gives you a link and password in order for you to sign up for your group interview slot online. On this site, you fill up forms regarding any previous work/volunteer experience, GPA etc. Once booked, you arrive for your interview and they ask you questions, go over their expectations and guidelines. The group interview is not hard, its rather fun. It is just a very relaxed conversation with you, the manager and other potential employees. As it is a group interview, I suggest to try standing out in terms of your personality (outgoing, energetic, funny, laid-back etc.) and through your appearance (wear abercrombie; typically clothing they are wearing as their uniform for the season). Once the interview is over, they answer some of your questions and go over the process where they begin calling people informing them they are hired (their calls will be take place a week after the interview).

I applied in-person. The process took a day - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in November 2012.

The interview process took place in a group (3 in my case) at the mall where the store was located. We were asked some typical questions like what are your hobbies and what you like to do for fun. Some random questions include what superpowers would want i you could have any and what animal would you be, etc.

you choose the dat to come in and arrive like 10 min before just in case. They asked me questions like what would my definition of diversity be, what do I think about the company etc. They are done in group interviews but luckily I was the only one who showed up that day for mine! I was hired on the spot and have been working there 3.5 years now. Love the people I work with. They want to make sure you are an outgoing individual with a great personality.

I called the store in my area to see if they were hiring. They provided me with a code and a website to grant me access into the system. I filled out the relatively generic application (asks about education, past work experience, etc.), and came in for an interview the following week. It is a group interview and the manager writes things down as you say them. They are mostly looking for positive and energetic responses rather than what you actually say.
