Sales Associate (Model) Interview

Sales Associate (Model)
Los Angeles, CA

I applied in-person and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in April 2013.

Interview Details – You should go apply in the store, but it helps if you know someone who works for them because then you are like guaranteed a group interview. We had to go into a room and sit on the floor in a circle and they asked you ridiculous questions to see how creative your answers would be. Since you're sitting with about 15 other people, it's hard to have an original answer so try to sit close to the interviewer. Don't think just because you didn't get the job you're unattractive or something

Interview Question – Which superhero would you be and why?   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – After I discovered what the CEO said...well it's explanatory.

Model/Sales Associate Interview

Model/Sales Associate

I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Interview Details – Interviews are pretty standard and short, be dressed appropriately (go for the A&F look if possible), light make up. First impressions are everything for this company. It also helps to not be visibly nervous as with any interview. General questions are asked, especially pertaining to previous work experience. And know your availability beforehand because they might ask you that during the interview process.

Interview Question – What do you think diversity means and how does it translate/help in the work place?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – Try to ask for more than minimum wage, it never hurts! Besides that, when they offer you the position they'll tell you when your first shift is or ask you to come in to finish up paperwork. Not much negotiation going on actually.
