Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Interview

The hiring manager asks questions about the store's history, and why is teamwork and diversity important. Usually a group interview, very informal. They like you to be wearing their latest clothes and look as close to their "look policy" as possible. If they like you, the interview/ hiring process goes very quickly. They are constantly looking for new people and love "fresh faces."

Apply on the computer and show up day you choose. They ask you how your friends describe you and what diversity means to you. They usually ask you to say there saying hey whats going on? To see how you sound. Almost everyone gets the job. You should get a call sometime between 3 days to 2 weeks depending on who did the interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

    Interview

Just a really easy, relaxed group interview with the assistant manager. There were only 4 questions and they were really simple. They just had us each answer the question in a row, meaning that the last person had an advantage since they got to listen to everyone's answers.

    Interview Questions

    • How would your friends describe you? What does diversity mean to you? What are you successful at? How would you describe our style?   Answer Question

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Washington, DC).

    Interview

First, there is a group interview. You can dress casually, but make sure you wear abercrombie everything or something similar. If you're going to be a model, they want to know what you would look like wearing their clothes. Speak up. Make sure you stand out. They just want people that would fit into their "Cali culture" vibe.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2014.

    Interview

The interview process is laid back and quick. When i went in, the manager told me to wait 5 minutes for any one else to show up. Interview is set in a group. We were really outgoing, and answered the questions with brief but explanative answers that showed we really wanted the job and that we were really social.

    Interview

You submit an application at in the store and sign up for an interview. Then you arrive at the group interview. As long as you look nice and are articulate, you'll get the position. If you've already worked for A&F/Hollister you'll automatically get the position - they love re-hiring because then they don't have to re-train you.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Los Angeles, CA) in April 2014.

    Interview

You are either approached in store or you have to inquire about working there. The manager gives you a link and password in order for you to sign up for your group interview slot online. On this site, you fill up forms regarding any previous work/volunteer experience, GPA etc. Once booked, you arrive for your interview and they ask you questions, go over their expectations and guidelines. The group interview is not hard, its rather fun. It is just a very relaxed conversation with you, the manager and other potential employees. As it is a group interview, I suggest to try standing out in terms of your personality (outgoing, energetic, funny, laid-back etc.) and through your appearance (wear abercrombie; typically clothing they are wearing as their uniform for the season). Once the interview is over, they answer some of your questions and go over the process where they begin calling people informing them they are hired (their calls will be take place a week after the interview).

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Sacramento, CA) in April 2014.

    Interview

They did the group interview in the back room with one of the managers and asked you questions like "what does diversity mean to you and why is it important in the workplace?" "why do you want to work for Abercrombie (hardest one cuz who really wants to work there?) "what is Abercrombie and Fitch's style?" Honestly your answers to the questions are pretty irrelevant and you're pretty much guaranteed a job if you're good looking and/or a minority

    Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Rolling Hills Estates, CA).

    Interview

I called the store in my area to see if they were hiring. They provided me with a code and a website to grant me access into the system. I filled out the relatively generic application (asks about education, past work experience, etc.), and came in for an interview the following week. It is a group interview and the manager writes things down as you say them. They are mostly looking for positive and energetic responses rather than what you actually say.

Overall it was a great learning experience and a great deal of responsibility as you are the lead decision maker. This is all of course under the old format of the company and I know many changes have been made sense.” – Full Review
