Very fast. They were polite, and helpful and lenient throughout the whole process. I was asked if I could reschedule, but I had exams during the other times they were available, so I was able to keep my time.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Accenture in September 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied through my university and made it to the second round interview. Both rounds were in their downtown office. First round was very quick and was clearly just to filter out any obviously bad candidates. The second round was longer and was a pretty typical behavioral interview. Did not get asked to come back for the third round.

Was told it was a seven step process. I made it only to #4. Questions were initially very specific to my Resume. Was asked to explain in detail each period of employment in the list. Later on it got to how I handled pressure, adversity etc. Was asked to rate myself on a scale of novice to expert on several things not listed in the job requirements.

Four stages of phone interview followed by one on one with Director. Two were technical/case study type interviews with subject specialists (supply chain, procurement) , one was a general aptitude interview and one a personality type interview. After the final interview having been told I passed all stages including the final with flying colors I was told there was no longer a position available due to a slowdown in the work pipeline. I felt I had wasted my time.

I applied through college or university – interviewed at Accenture in September 2012.

Accenture hosted a number of networking events at which they introduced current Consultants and explained the company culture. They keep track of attendance at these events so it's crucial to attend. I submitted my resume and they invited me to a first-round interview. I had to separate, roughly hour-long case interviews. The first was a conversational case which was pretty nebulous and confusing. The second was a more quantitative case. Both interviewers were kind but to-the-point.

    Management Consulting Senior Manager Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6+ weeksinterviewed at Accenture in August 2011.

I was contacted by Accenture Recruiter about their interest in talking to me about a Sr Manager opportunity in their Management Consulting practice. Initial phone interview was rescheduled a few times. Good discussions with another sr manager which included a case discussion. During the phone interview itself the Sr manager felt that I was doing well and discussed next round options. In person discussions scheduled in Houston office. Met with a few sr managers and partners. Got a call later in the day that all gave very positive feedback. More personal details were requested for background check to extend an offer. I was then requested to get on the phone with another sr partner who suggested that I talk to another sr partner in an adjacent practice.

I work for a big corporation currently. I wanted to work for a nimbler organization and hence I was interested in Accenture's MC practice that is relatively smaller. While Accenture has smart people, it unfortunately behaves like a big corporation with lots of processes, slow decision making. It also felt like everyone at various levels in the organization wanted to have an input on every decision. This is generally indicative of other problems in the organization.

The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Accenture in February 2011.

    Interview Details

The first interview was pretty simple - just testing your knowledge of the company and the basics of the job.

The second interview was a bit tougher, since it was all situational. I'm not sure if this is common, but my interviewer didn't even give me the chance to ask questions on my second interview. The interview was supposed to last 1 hour, but mine lasted 30 min. I think it could have stretched to 40 or 45 minutes if I was able to ask questions, since I had quite a few lined up, but the interviewer thanked me for my time and said goodbye.

The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Accenture in March 2010.

    Interview Details

The first interview was over the phone with an employee (not HR) and was basically just talking about the company and some of the things on your resume. I had very few questions asked and really just talked more about the company and position
The second interview was behavioral based and was fairly tough. It was only 3 questions but she delved into my answers very deeply and asked why I did certain things at X point, why did I think that would be best, etc.
The third interview was an office visit and interview with 2 senior execs who asked similar questions fromt he first two interviews.
