Startup & Commissiong Engineer Interview

Anonymous Employee
Alexandria, VA

I applied through other source - interviewed at Air Liquide in July 2013.

Interview Details – Air Liquide acquired the company that I used to work for and I was selected for an interview. The questions were most behavioral such as what would you do before the customers or end users if you manager gave the wrong answer to a field work related question by the end users? How can you handle yourself during the plant upset time? How to you handle noise places? or environment? What is your plan regarding mastering Air Liquide Policies or Technologies? How fast can you hit the ground running regarding field work?

Interview Question – Tell me why I should believe what you're saying regarding hiring you? I dont think you have what it takes to handle insults and screming from the Senior Engineer during the plant upset.
All these questions were asked to see you reactions. Candidate have to be simple and act like he/she can't get get upset or feel surprised because the field work environment was really realy tough sometime.
  Answer Question

Negotiation Details – No negociation, the offer was great more than waht I was expected including 10% of field bonus for every field travel.
