Interview Details

The process for getting an in-person interview took over two months, and during the panel type interview not only were they over half an hour late once they finally showed up they proceeded to fire off a slew of questions that were irrelevant for a Communications professional, and the ones that were in the ball park of what Mar Comms experts can do they were visibly unreceptive to anything I had to say no matter how diplomatic my demeanor and responses. TOp of mind descriptors of their attitude are snobbish, high sense of entitlement, and borderline rude. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Interview Questions
  • None of the questions were difficult, however it was more their reactions to everything I said that were very unexpected. They asked me in advance to prepare an extensive briefing of how I'd position the company at 30-60-90 days (if it was just an outline to see how I thought, that's fine, expected and I'm glad to provide it, but this wasn't that, it was a full blown PR/Communications plan, and it really felt like the whole "interview" process was more a way for them to garner free, creative, MarComm ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if that role never gets filled. It was just an overall icky experience.   Answer Question
