I applied online. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Apple in January 2010.

Interview Details

Interview process was a group interview with multiple people. It was hard to stand out in the crowd of people, but if you try you can make an impact. Overall it was not a bad process once you got past all the people around you.

Had 3 interviews. One at the office and then two at the actual store. All on three separate days. They rejected me through an automated email (at least they had the courtesy to let me know). Everyone was friendly but do your preparation; they are going to be tough and ask you a lot).

    Interview Questions
    • They asked a lot about specific examples to each question. Make sure you do your Apple research as well.   Answer Question

They asked many situational questions: tell me about a time you had to do this or that. Tell me about a time you were faced with a dissatisfied customer, what did you do to fix the situation. After about ten of those, we had a free flowing conversation. Everything was pretty straight forward.

I applied in-person. The process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at Apple in February 2010.

    Interview Details

The interviews are broken up into stages:
    1. This interview was a large group event
    2. I received a phone call 72 hours after the “Apple Career Seminar.”
    3. I arrived for my interview on time at 9am, but I was told that the manager who was going to interview me was busy and I was asked to wait around for a few minutes.
    4. Five days after my first in-store interview I went back for an interview with the head manager.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months - interviewed at Apple.

The process took 4 months, and communication was nonexistent. Managers consistently late to interviews. When I signed the offer, I didn't even know it was for only part-time. Unprofessional.
