    Director Marketing International Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Emeryville, CA
    No Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at Art.com (Emeryville, CA) in July 2010.

    Interview

This process took way too long. It seemed like some people had one view of the job and the final hiring manager had another. I had interviews over two sessions spread 5 weeks apart but in the end I was told I wasn't a fit. I flet like after the first day everyone thought I fit, but the description changed and it was pre-determined that I had a different skill set.

This is a long-standing company but they might be going through a change as they have some new management. I didn't feel like they respected my time. That was my only complaint. Still an interesting company though. Nice culture, very relaxed, and people have been there a long time.
