Interview Details –
I was asked many rigorous questions about my past experience and how I would apply my skills and knowledge on the job.
When I left the interview, I was told that I should expect a phone call the following week; which never happened.... Usually, well-established companies let candidates know whether they are selected or not, especially at this point far in the process. Disappointing experience....

Interview Details – Had initial phone screen with HR after in- house recruiter mined me from a site. Then on-site interview. Met with hiring Director 1st & went way over time (his choice). So the remaining 5 or 6 interviewers started piling up on one another in this tiny room & it was very difficult because just as I was starting or finishing an example or STAR, another 1 or 2 would walk in & I'd have to bring them up to speed, etc. or start over or guess if it was even something they wanted to hear. It wrapped up after 4 hrs (supposed to be 3). HR Manager took me on small tour & said they would advise me of their decision in 1 week max. They were all great and personable but I was up against an internal candidate. And they went with a the known entity from another division (Miami). I can't fault them on their logic. I was disappointed bc the HR Manager promised feedback over a month later I still haven't heard anything. I'd hoped to gain some gems to improve so next time they would want to take the leap of faith. Also kind of sad to find out via website after no response for 2 weeks. Director of Eng is phenomenal & would be awesome to work for. Pod work environment with true value chain teaming!

Interview Details – I got the interview through a staffing agency recruiter, who lied and told me that my skill-set was perfect, and I went straight to the interview without even a phone screen. When I got there, I met 1 on 1 with the hiring manager, who told me about the position and asked about my skillset. He seemed to be single-mindedly focused on what I did in my last position and ignored everything I said about my recent education, aptitudes, and positions before that. It turns out I did not have the right skillset, the interview only lasted 20 minutes, and I was rejected the next day. I was relieved because I would have been the only developer there and would have had to have worked about 60+ hours a week including nights, weekends, and being on-call. The recruiter lied about the location too - it was actually an hour away from where he said it was. I think the recruiter wasted my time and there should have at least been a phone screen with the company first.

Email with HR to set up a phone interview
Phone interview with Plant Mgr/VP and current OP X Director who was moving on to another role
All questions were specific to continuous improvement - almost like test questions - and they were looking for specific answers
The plant VP was British and very direct and almost insulting - I got a bad vib from him and did not think I passed the interview but I got a email the next day stating they wanted me in for a site interview
Site interview started wtih a1 hr Panel: HR mgr, Sourcing mgr and finance, - HR had 20 specific questions he needed answers for, Sourcing and finance asked about my dealings with their functions.
Next 1 hr pannel was with HR and current CI director - same as above but we went to lunch during the interview -
Next interview was with Other business unit managers and engineering - and their questions were about dealing with people - getting them to do what they asked
NOTE: this is a union environment and they seemed to be struggling with that - and they all seemed over worked unhappy.
Final interview with the VP of Mfg: we toured the plant and he told me I was the 15th person he had interviewed for the position (wow), specific questions about my resume and how I did what I claimed I did were his focus.
At this point I did not want the job
