Very Easy Interview
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Bank of America in October 2012.
Interview Details – The position was identified by friends and people that I had worked with previously at the Bank. I had good experience, although in unrelated areas of technology. Submitting the resume and interviewing was expedited and not especially challenging. I was hired initially as a contractor (they found a company that had a contract I could work under) before being transitioned to full-time employee 4 months later.
Interview Question – No unexpected questions this time, although when I first interviewed at the Bank (many, many years ago), I was asked if I knew how to 2-step. View Answer
Negotiation Details – I was fairly desperate for the job and took a 10% cut from when I was laid off from the Bank 15 months earlier (but in fairness to my manager, it was a different position with less responsibility)
Pros: team work, the pay, the change to move around in the company, the ability to learned different process in your department. – Full Review
