Interview Details – The interview process was bleak and non-informative. I always thought that Geek Squad was going to be an amazing opportunity, but the interview gave way to a different perspective. They asked the typical retail interview questions without any feeling or excitement as if they were used to the routine and left me with feelings of second guessing what I was getting into exactly.
Interview Question – They asked me to sell a pen...Pretty typical. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – The negotiation was take it or leave it. I needed a job at the time, and the pay was the only way I was going to take the job.

Interview Details – I received a call from the department supervisor indicating that he had looked over my application, and wondered if I could come in to have an interview. The first interview was performed by the department supervisor, and he explained to me that there would be two additional interviews, one with the assistant manager and one with the general manager. He explained to me that the first interview is where the majority of candidates get weeded out, and that only people they want to hire get a second interview. He mentioned to me that professional appearance really sets the tone for how well the interview goes, so I was happy I had worn a nice shirt, tie, dress pants, and dress shoes. The interview consisted of a number of questions asking me to explain prior experiences, such as what I thought about work ethic and how to balance conflicts with my private life.
Interview Question – Tell me about a time you had a conflict between work and your personal life. How did you handle it? Answer Question
