I applied through an employee referral – interviewed at Boston University.


Hiring process took several months with multiple interviews. As with many academic institutions, consensus matters among the interviewers and you need to be a strong cultural fit more than anything. Since people in the interview process were not from Career Services, there were more generiic questions versus "technical" questions related to the inner workings of career services. Tell us about yourself? Why are you interested in us and this position? How do you go about building relationships? What are your weaknesses? What are you most proud of?
