    - Telephone interview with a recruiter: the recruiter described the company emphasizing it's qualities, but did not go into details regarding the exact job description;
    - Telephone interview with one of the managers: I was encouraged to talk about myself a lot. My personality was what they were mostly interested in. Again the subject regarding the actual job was skipped.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Brown Brothers Harriman in September 2014.

    Interview Details

I was told that I would meet with five people but I only met with two. The process wasn't really difficult, just general interview questions and I was offered the job within the next 2-3 day. After I was offered the position though, it took them a few weeks to get back to me with the paperwork.

I applied through a staffing agency – interviewed at Brown Brothers Harriman.

    Interview Details

Heard of the job through a staffing agency. Standard interview -- overall impressions of professionalism count for a lot. Being on point, showing that you are someone with good time management and an excellent ability to execute tasks counts for a lot. The position is basically assimilating and carrying out the same set of tasks every day. The challenges therefore are not variable, however you need an excellent attention to detail and an ability to get your work done in a very time efficient manner.
Demonstrating that you're a fast learner (so as so quickly adopt the methodology) and have a rigorous work ethic will help get the job.

There were several questions asked between the interviewer and interviewee. Great communication and description of what was expected from the employee. A lot of background is given about the company and the potential employee's team. Daily functions are discussed in great detail. There is a lot of time given to ask questions to become more familiar with the interviewer

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Brown Brothers Harriman in March 2012.

    Interview Details

We had an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The interview was set up by a temp agency, and the temp agency handled everything in terms of when I got accepted (got a call back that day) and coordination of all the required documents. You also need to get finger-printed.

Very effiecent young interviewers. Great attitudes, although I believe that they should have other, more senior employees do the interviewing as they seemed to be too young to be judges of personal and professional character.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a dayinterviewed at Brown Brothers Harriman in October 2010.

    Interview Details

I was a referral from a senior employee. I had two interviews in one sitting, each with two manager level people. One was fairly intense and that focused on prior experience, school, etc. The other interview was very laid back and casual. The focus of the second interview seemed to be to get a read on my personality.

    Interview Questions
    • I had only been at my previous job for 3 months. I saw that as a temporary opportunity and this position as a career start, but I was grilled on why I would expect BBH to hire me given I was jumping ship so soon into my other job.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
There was no opportunity to negotiate. It was a take it or leave it offer.
