    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at CEB (Arlington, VA) in July 2015.

    Interview

Contacted through a recruiter. Brief screening interview with her, followed by a phone interview with CEB HR team. Final round interview was a video conference call over a web application called hirevue. Very straight forward interview, asked about work experience and then about 5 behavioral questions. Not overly difficult if you follow the CAR apporach.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at CEB in June 2015.

    Interview

I received a call from the recruiter shortly after I applied. We went over my background and resume. Once she thought I would be an ideal fit for the position, she told me I had to pass the aptitude test (you complete it online). After passing the aptitude test, I was scheduled for an interview via video conference ( I don't live in Chicago yet, I'm on the west coast). I had to submit an accomplishment record (writing sample) prior to the interview. The recruiter was pretty helpful and gave me tips to do well on the interview. The actual interview itself felt difficult. I felt like the interviewer kept trying to throw me off, but once I touched based with the recruiter a few days after the interview she offered me the position.

    Interview

The first round was an online process. Once cleared, the next was an in-person round. Then on clearing that, was a telephonic round with HR. Then if we are good, there was one more with a senior person in the office.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at CEB.

    Interview

I was contacted by an outside recruiter who introduced the idea of interviewing. I was then contacted by the talent acquisition department for the initial interview. They dove straight into behavioral questions, which caught me a little off guard. I made it to the second round with an assessment that takes around an hour. Following they requested I complete an accomplishment record to have written record prior to my final interview.

    Interview

Recruited followed by a phone interview with the recruiter to gauge potential fit that involved generic description of resume and previous work experience. Invited back about a week later for an onsite interview and video interview. Generally related to fit with CEB and how i could see myself fitting in. still awaiting back on response.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at CEB.

    Interview

I came from a target school, so my process may have been different from others. But it essentially consisted of a resume drop, and a number of coffee chats/informational interviews/meet and greets, before the actual process started. From there I experienced nothing less than a positive experience. It consisted of an assessment, a first round behavioral, and then a final round behavioral and case study.

    Interview

I sent my application through their website. I received an email a little more than a month afterward. There was an initial 1 hour phone call with a recruiter with basic questions exploring my background, discussing my interest in CEB, and recalling times when I had to work on a team or how I conduct research. I was also sent a test online that gauged basic reasoning skills and personality. A few weeks later I was scheduled to do two 1-hour interviews. The first hour was dedicated to behavioral questions. All of these questions had multiple parts to them and it was difficult to address every aspect of the question. I suggest writing everything down and asking the recruiter to repeat the question. Also, don't be afraid to relay experiences outside of internships or academics. Immediately following the behavioral portion, I had to do a case interview. The case was the city bus system case mentioned in previous reviews. Case interviews are designed to puzzle your brain and test how you think. There is no right answer. I suggest reading up on case interviews and make sure you bring a pen, paper, and calculator (there were numbers). They are inherently challenging, but don't lose your cool. Overall, the recruitment process was very straight forward and a very pleasant experience. Everyone I encountered seemed genuinely interested in figuring out whether I'd be a good fit and actually thrive in the position. The interviews were the right degree of challenging.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at CEB (Washington, DC).

    Interview

Went through 2 phone interviews, one live. First phone interview was the normal HR screen. Second one was with the hiring manager to see if it's a skills match. After passing that to see if it's a cultural match - there was a heavy emphasis put on this throughout the process - they flew me out to headquarters where I met with 5 people. Three were one-on-one discussions and one was a two-on-one conversation. Prior to the interview they reiterated it was not a very formal company and encouraged me to "be myself".

    Application

I applied through college or university – interviewed at CEB in February 2015.

    Interview

Very heavy on the behavioral side of interviewing. At first my resume was walked through in detail where they asked me about my previous work experience. One the formal interview questions began, I was taken aback on how in-depth they expected answers to be. I was able to answer them, but somebody who has not had quite a bit of experience in a sales role would struggle with some of the questions.
