I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at CEB.

I came from a target school, so my process may have been different from others. But it essentially consisted of a resume drop, and a number of coffee chats/informational interviews/meet and greets, before the actual process started. From there I experienced nothing less than a positive experience. It consisted of an assessment, a first round behavioral, and then a final round behavioral and case study.

I applied online – interviewed at CEB.

    Interview Details

I sent my application through their website. I received an email a little more than a month afterward. There was an initial 1 hour phone call with a recruiter with basic questions exploring my background, discussing my interest in CEB, and recalling times when I had to work on a team or how I conduct research. I was also sent a test online that gauged basic reasoning skills and personality.

A few weeks later I was scheduled to do two 1-hour interviews. The first hour was dedicated to behavioral questions. All of these questions had multiple parts to them and it was difficult to address every aspect of the question. I suggest writing everything down and asking the recruiter to repeat the question. Also, don't be afraid to relay experiences outside of internships or academics.

Immediately following the behavioral portion, I had to do a case interview. The case was the city bus system case mentioned in previous reviews. Case interviews are designed to puzzle your brain and test how you think. There is no right answer. I suggest reading up on case interviews and make sure you bring a pen, paper, and calculator (there were numbers). They are inherently challenging, but don't lose your cool.

Overall, the recruitment process was very straight forward and a very pleasant experience. Everyone I encountered seemed genuinely interested in figuring out whether I'd be a good fit and actually thrive in the position. The interviews were the right degree of challenging.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at CEB.

    Interview Details

Went through 2 phone interviews, one live. First phone interview was the normal HR screen. Second one was with the hiring manager to see if it's a skills match. After passing that to see if it's a cultural match - there was a heavy emphasis put on this throughout the process - they flew me out to headquarters where I met with 5 people. Three were one-on-one discussions and one was a two-on-one conversation. Prior to the interview they reiterated it was not a very formal company and encouraged me to "be myself".

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at CEB in February 2015.

    Interview Details

The interview process started with a 30 minute phone interview with a recruiter followed by an online questionnaire for the first round. The final round was an in person interview with a writing sample. The writing sample was behavior and situational questions. The two people who interviewed me then asked me very similar questions that were in the written sample. I was hoping more for a conversation between peers about my skill set and the company needs. Instead it was more of an on the spot, standardized questioning. Much of which they already knew from my writting sample so I did not really see the point of asking basically the same questions over again. However, the recruiter and interviewers were very nice

Very heavy on the behavioral side of interviewing. At first my resume was walked through in detail where they asked me about my previous work experience. One the formal interview questions began, I was taken aback on how in-depth they expected answers to be. I was able to answer them, but somebody who has not had quite a bit of experience in a sales role would struggle with some of the questions.

Submitted initial CV through campus portal. Was emailed by recruiter a couple of weeks later. Made me complete an online assessment dealing with logic, mathematical, computational, and behavioral question. After completing that, had to go through a behavioral interview with the recruiter. Final round was an hour long behavioral and an hour long case question.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at CEB in January 2015.

    Interview Details

Took about 2 weeks for an email and then it was followed by a phone interview. The person who I interview with was very pleasant, and answered all my questions regarding pay, vacation time, religious holiday etc. The questions that were asked were very general questions, for example, what would I contribute to the company, where do I see myself within the next 2 years.

Pretty standard interview process. Behavioral questions and walk through of my resume. I applied online in about September, got contacted in late November/early December to do a phone interview. Following this there was a critical reasoning online test and a personality test. Last, there was a 2 person Skype interview. Overall, supportive process, no questions that were out of the blue or too challenging.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at CEB.

    Interview Details

The process was pretty stress-free. I applied through my school and a recruiter reached out to me shortly after. I had a phone interview with her and a couple weeks later she informed me that I would be moving on to the final round. The final round was set in Chicago, IL with 4 other students (they hold multiple rounds like these throughout the year). There were several presentations...I walked out of there knowing so much more about the company than I did walking in. Everyone is extremely nice; most BDAs are straight out of college. I then had my behavioral interview with one of the managers and a recruiter. They were very nice as well. It was basic behavioral questions, nothing too hard. Just be confident in yourself, know why you want the position and why you want to work at CEB.
