Interview Details

CGI Federal has many devisions. Depending on which one you're applying for the interview process will be different. Usually depending on the demand the interview will be a simple phone screening and paperwork to be sent before the in person interview. The onsite interviews are very simple, you need to speak intelligently about what you have done and how your skills will suit the position being hired for. It will come diwn to team and personal dynamics. They will not drill you on technical details or quiz you unless you are unable to answer basic technical questions regarding responsibilities pertaining to the job. The culture there is laxed and structured. CGI is a large company and will provide many benefits one of which is unlimited sick leave but the caveat is that over time is not paid. Employees are given comp time and as of this writting, any hour above 48 hours per week the employee will earn comp time.

Like any position CGI is always open to negotiating the right salary but of course ecerything must be justified. If you can convince them that you have alot to bring to the table they will give something. If salary is difficult ask for more vacation.
