    Summer Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at CME Group (Chicago, IL) in February 2015.

    Interview

Overall, it was a pretty comfortable interview. It was a general interview taken during the spring career fair at University of Illinois at Chicago especially for business students. I was looking for a summer internship and CME group also had their recruiters there. I went to them and introduced myself as a graduate accounting student expecting to graduate in December 2015 and showed my interest in gaining practical experience at a reputable organization like CME Group. They asked me about my undergraduate degree. I was in a better position as i had it in accounting as well and i explained the relevant course work i had already covered. They asked for my resume and i provided it. They marked some points on it and almost after one month i got a packet through fedEx containing an offer letter as a student intern starting on May 18, 2015. I am excited to join the CME Group as a student intern. It was a pretty comfortable and friendly interview overall.

One phone interview with HR. In person interviews with two different people. Process took about 2-3 weeks.
