Interview Details – I was pretty excited about this opportunity, even though the online JD was a bit vague. From what I read, I honestly thought I could be a good match for this position. There were a few items they were looking for in candidates where I knew I did not have experience, but I thought I was a really good fit for many of the other expectations. I was contacted via email by corporate HR within about a week of applying. Had a 1/2 hour interview with HR which went smoothly. They could not provide much detail about the position but noted that there would be about 10% travel to Rhode Island required which surprised me, but I was okay with it. I was contacted a few days later via email to schedule an in person interview with two team members. Upon the start of the interview it became very clear that the position posted and the actual role were totally different. I went into this interview believing I had applied for a position that managed a team (a working manager) and it turned out to not be true at all. And 50% of the creative work was PPT which was not once mentioned in the online JD or during the HR interview. Also, no travel needed. All very bizarre. Also, the first person interviewing me had received incorrect information about me from HR and clearly had not reviewed my resume prior to seeing me. The second person who interviewed me immediately asked me questions about where I lived. Clearly a HUGE HR no-no. I know that I did not interview that well for the position because I think I was really off my game after being side-swiped by all the miscommunications and misdirection. I also got a really bad vibe from the whole experience. I'm not sad that I didn't get the job.

Interview Details – I got a call to schedule an interview within three days of applying online - far different than my other experiences and most welcome! The interview was scheduled for two days after the call, which was also welcome. The interview itself focused on whether or not I had experience which would enable me to fit in right away. Although I have excellent prior experience, it is all in the distant past, so I'm quite sure that is why I did not get the call with an offer - said calls were being made the same day after all the interviews, I was even given a specific time. I just didn't get the call. Perhaps I'll get one next week (this possibility was also mentioned) after she's brought on others.

Interview Details – I was called in for an interview with the district manager and pharmacy manager. They were not very proactive in their questioning. I felt as if they didn't really care who they hired. I was told originally it would be a full time position, but during the interview told it was only part time. I didn't get a sense of security while looking at their pharmacy.

The process took 3 months - interviewed at CVS Caremark in May 2014.

Interview Details – About three weeks after applying online I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview. Within a week I had an in person interview scheduled. I thought that had gone really well. It was scheduled for an hour and went two hours. I felt like they were interested and trying to sell me on the job. They said they had more interviews to do and I'd hear within 2 weeks. Three weeks later I contacted the recruiter to follow up, he said he would let me know the following week. It's been over 7 weeks since my interview. Obviously at this point I assume I didn't get it, but if they respected candidate's time, they would let you know.

Interview Details – I handled all of the hiring. I searched through the database & selected whom I thought would be the best fit. Asked basic interview questions like strengths & weaknesses, tell me about a time how you handled an upset customer & how you resolved the issue. Since I worked in the Pharmacy I had each potential employee take a SIG and Day supply tests based on our most dispensed medications. However, each CVS location has their own style & preference on hiring. This company does not have a set hiring process for every location.

Interview Details – I was interviewed twice over the phone and called into five separate interviews. One time the manager did not show up and his assistant "quasi-interviewed" me...not knowing I had an appointment. Two different managers told me the company was under a "reign of terror", that the job was terrible right now and that long term managers were being let go. A fourth manager was only vaguely interested... he asked the same question 3 times... how long I had actually held my last position.

I believe I had a lot to offer CVS. I am sorry that the morale is so low... I can not help that CVS bought the chain you were trained in and that you hate your employer. If things are so bad perhaps you need to have people conduct the interviews who represent your company better.
