Director of Marketing Interview

Director of Marketing
Las Vegas, NV

I applied through other source and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Caesars Entertainment in March 2007.

Interview Details – I had several phone interviews, first with their recruiter and then with the hiring manager, followed by a day-long event meeting with 7 individuals in Las Vegas. They flew me in and put me and my wife up with all expenses paid for the weekend which was very nice. The interview day itself was a very long day! They also administered IQ and personalty tests as well. Everyone was very friendly and the experience was tiring but engaging as well.

Interview Question – Do you like to gamble?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – I was in a unique position because I had specific skills that they needed so I had a fair amount of leverage. I guess the best advice is that it would never hurt to ask.

I applied online and the process took 4 months - interviewed at Caesars Entertainment in September 2008.

Interview Details – Very rigorous. You take a battery of tests and everyone undergoes a background check, a hair test for drugs and the vaunted gaming packet. Submit bank records and tax returns. You meet everyone on the executive team

Interview Question – tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult employee or customer   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Know your worth and back it up with facts
