They only hire good looking women with large chests. That sounds like a joke, but I'm serious. Late 15 minutes? Who cares if you've got E-cups! (yes, the late girl got to the next round)

Also, fake smile a lot and answer questions with how happy you are all the time. The first round does not take into account what position you are applying for, just fake being happy and you'll get to round two (assuming you have massive knockers).

Past experience and recommendations matter almost none at all. Men are at a real disadvantage. Every single person doing the hiring in the group interview was female and they heavily favored women in selection and hiring.

I really can't stress the boobs part enough, I have no idea why they haven't been sued for their hiring practices yet.

When a new casino opens up for table games, they will have cattle call interviews where inexperienced applicants get a chance to train for a position. This will usually involve having a one-on-one interview which will last only a few minutes before moving onto a group interview where a panel of interviewers will ask several questions to a group of applicants. Those who pass this interview will be asked to take a test on math and customer service skills. If you pass those you will be invited to take classes to train for your particular job and the jobs you will be offered will depend on your math score. After you take classes (which are mandated by the state so their length varies accordingly) you have to pass an audition. Once you do, you will be offered a position and be informed whether it is an offer for Full or Part Time. You have to pass a drug test to be hired as well. Also, you have to be able to get a license from the state which entails giving a lot of personal history (in my state's case, employment history going back 20 years) and not being rejected (which can happen if you have certain criminal offenses in your past.)

    Interview Questions
    • It was difficult for me to accept that my previous experience dealing poker and playing it had no bearing on the initial interview. CET's philosophy is that they can teach the kinf of people they want how to deal as opposed to get trained dealers and have them conform to the kind of employee CET wants.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Not much of a negotiation. All dealers start out with the same hourly wage. You will be offered Full Time or Part Time though you can ask for PT if you don't want FT. You will also be asked for your requested shifts and days off.

Expect to go to your interview and sing a song, dance, and tell a story. They want you to be outlandish and ridiculous, having fun while everyone in the room nervously laughs at you. This is expected for every position. If you do not have fun, you will not be hired.

    Interview Questions
    • Having to come up with a song to sing on the spot while acting out the musician was the most difficult given that I don't listen to music.   Answer Question

I interviewed online. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Caesars Entertainment in August 2010.

    Interview Details

I had an interview with HR at first. She scheduled me to attend a group/panel interview that consisted of 20 other applicants (for all positions) and required to bring one item that I am most passionate or proud of (excluding family and pets). I was paired with another person and had to introduce her to the class. In addition everyone was required to share the best customer experience and then present your item to the class. It was actually a fun process (only if you are one to interact).
